Stress Management

Stress is ubiquitous.  It can be defined as the wear and tear on the mind and body in response to  everyday irritations.  When left unchecked it can be quite detrimental to health and wellbeing.  Stress affects people physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Stress and Health

According to a growing body of scientific evidence, up to 90% of all health problems are related to stress.  It is however, not the stressful events themselves that do the harm, it is how people   perceive and respond to them.  Chronic conditions often evolve from  persistent stress, or in other cases, are exacerbated by stress, which can impede recovery and drain energy.

  • Nigel Garion-Hutchings teaches a series of revolutionary, unique & effective Stress management techniques that many have already benefited from. These skills are practical and easy to understand and have the   potential to really transform your life.
  •
  • For this to happen, you are not required to believe what you are told, you are simply asked to practice the    methods and techniques you learn, & observe, as you transform your life and those around you.
  •
  •  The initial consultation includes a personal Stress Assessment and takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. Follow up consultations take around 1 hour.

Bio-feedback equipment may be used during your consultation to measure stress levels from an objective view point.

Stress Management                                                                            Increasingly stress management and emotional  self-regulation is being recognized as a key factor in optimizing immune system functioning, recovery from illness and  performance improvement.  More than ever health professionals are aware of this reality – that the nature of illness is best  addressed both in mind and body.

Negative Effects of Stress                                                                Emotions and feelings have a powerful effect on the human body. Negative emotional reactions trigger undesirable physiological changes that can create or exacerbate a variety of health and  emotional problems including heart disease, hypertension, asthma, eczema, headaches, stroke, depression, anxiety, obsessional compulsive disorders, learning difficulties,  frustration, anger, fatigue, and sleep disturbances,  to name but a few.
